Common Core State Standards and NC Essential Standards (CCES) - English Language Arts - November 2, 2012

Note: Participants should bring:
Fully Charged Laptop/iPad/Tablet per person and a Power Strip/cord per team

 

DPI content sessions are required and designed for the local team members who attended the Summer Institute for each content area. One additional person may also register and attend the content session with that Summer Institute team member.  Each participant will then be expected to work with their local professional development teams to present the information, strategies and resources gained in these sessions with teachers in their LEA or Charter.

These local content leaders are responsible for sharing what they learn with teachers in their districts and schools. If a participant attends the session in place of their local Summer Institute representative, they will need to prepare by reviewing the social studies materials from previous sessions and from the summer institute at www.ncdpi.wikispaces.net/
