We will share and analyze data sources that are available to inform decisions and evaluate the programs. Participants will understand the principles of data literacy and will identify ways to build on current data to improve data literacy for their schools. What does Digital Literacy look like in the classroom? This session will assist administrators in being able to evaluate the use of digital literacy in Media and Technology Programs. The term digital literacy may be interpreted in a variety of ways, but in this session we will focus on two areas: 1) the ability to find, evaluate, and utilize information using online resources and tools, and 2) the ability to use technology to share information in a world that emphasizes collaboration and interactive communication in both the personal sphere and the workplace.
