We are now accepting proposals for concurrent sessions. Be a part
of this conference by presenting your best practices for preparing
students for the 21st
Century.
SESSION CONTENT
Presentation topics must be aligned with the guiding mission of the NC
State Board of Education that every public school student will graduate
from high school globally competitive for work and postsecondary
education and prepared for life in the 21st
Century.
Preference will be given to presentations that would be of interest to
special groups, that demonstrate collaboration, that combine policy and
practice and that have proven successful and worthy of sharing and
celebrating.
SESSION STRUCTURE
Sessions will be presented during the Summer Leadership Conference, but
specific dates and times have not been finalized.
Presenters must supply their own computers and projectors to show
PowerPoint presentations. Overhead projectors are available upon
request. Honorariums for presenters are not available. Presenters
will be responsible for their own travel expenses, presentation
materials and handouts. If presenters are attending the conference
only to present their session, they will not be charged a registration
fee. Presenters who attend the conference or the bulk of the
conference must pay the registration fee.
