In this module you will create your own interactive presentation. Presentations are made interactive through the use of hyperlinks and action buttons. At the end of this module, you will be given an assignment which you should complete and email as an attachment to cgeorge@wresa.org .

1. Read and practice the following: About hyperlinks and action buttons in a presentation: Hyperlinks: You can add a hyperlink to your presentation and then use it to go to a variety of locations — for example, a custom show, a specific slide within your presentation, a different presentation altogether, a Microsoft Word document or Microsoft Excel spreadsheet, or an Internet, intranet, or e-mail address. You can create a hyperlink from any object — including text, shapes, tables, graphs, and pictures. You insert hyperlinks by clicking Insert Hyperlink .

Select the text you wish to turn into a hyperlink.
Click the Insert Hyperlink button. |
| Type in the URL of the site you
wish to link to.
Click OK. |

| When you run the slideshow, the link becomes active. During the show, if you click on the link, your default browser (i.e. Internet Explorer connects the the URL |

Your Own Interactive Presentation
1. Using all your skills,
create an interactive presentation (using hyperlinks to other pages or web
sites). This presentation should contain at least 10 slides. It should be
based on your own design template, and contain a table and a chart.
Animation effects are optional. |
