EVAAS for School Improvement: What It Means and How to Use It

EVAAS provides reporting that enables school and district-level administrators to determine how effective they’ve been in helping students progress, academically. The school-focused morning session and the district-focused afternoon session are designed to provide administrators with a clear understanding of the reporting, including the new EOG model, the web-based teacher reports, and how EVAAS can be used to target areas for improvement that directly impact student progress. The presenters will be Dr. Sandy Horn, Senior Educator Support Specialist with SAS EVAAS and Jenn Persson, Educator Support Specialist, SAS EVAAS.

WRESA is pleased to announce the 2012-2013 Western Region Administrators’ Training Institute for principals and assistant principals. We have offered this training for several years so that administrators can complete their contact hours for license renewal in a convenient location, with session topics aligned with the current standards for principals.
